Job summary

Complete Care in Cedar Grove, NJ seeks an Activity Aide to support residents with engaging programs and events. You will implement scheduled activities, monitor behavior, assist with decorations, and ensure calendars are up to date.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, energy, creativity, empathy, and teamwork. Computer skills are helpful as you coordinate with the activities team and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Energetic, creative and empathetic team player.
• Willingness to work as part of a caregiving team.
• Good computer literacy for activity coordination.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
