Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Lifestyle Director to lead engaging activities and events for residents in Santa Cruz.

The role emphasizes creativity, social engagement, and supporting senior living programs with a compassionate approach. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of Senior Living experience, three years in group activities (or CA Activity Certification) and a valid Class B license or ability to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate written and oral English.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with Senior Living.
• Three years’ experience conducting group activities and events or CA Activity Certification plus two years related experience.
• Current Class B driver’s license or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Cares Dementia Advanced Care Certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills including follow-up, detail-oriented and multitasking.

What we need from you:

• Able to communicate written and orally in English.
• Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with Senior Living
• Have 3 years’ experience in conducting group activities and events or completed CA Activity Certification course and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Class B drivers’ license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
