Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking an Activities Assistant to coordinate a variety of activities for the resort and assist with planning and executing events that enhance guest experience.

You will engage with guests, help run daily activities, set up and clean event spaces, and maintain a positive atmosphere across property locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and attend activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners (Essential).
• Set up and clean up event spaces before and after activities to keep a safe, organized, and welcoming environment (Essential).
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests (Essential).
• Serve as a role model for Sun standards and reputation (Essential).
• Help maintain attendance tracking for each activity.
• Assist with training activities team members and volunteers.
• Assist with distributing weekly newsletter to resort residents and guests.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
