Aster Place is now hiring a full-time Memory Care Activities Assistant

Day Shift
What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?
  1. Make a difference in the lives of residents by providing care and compassion.
  2. Act as a positive teammate to fellow employees, helping onboard new teammates.
  3. Encourage memory care residents to participate in daily activities to enhance their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
  4. Use your passion for serving others to motivate residents to engage in their own health and wellness.
  5. Organize activities based on residents' backgrounds, needs, and preferences.
  6. Recruit, train, and recognize volunteers to expand the activity program and maximize resident participation.
  7. Involve resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to promote active participation and well-being.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience working with the geriatric population is preferred.
  2. CNA certification is preferred, with an openness to obtain CNA certification within the first six months of employment.
