This role focuses on delivering engaging activities designed to meet the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual needs of the elderly, including those with dementia. You will collaborate closely with the Activity Director and care staff to ensure a vibrant and supportive environment. As an Activities Assistant, your primary responsibility is to provide a robust activity program to residents in our retirement community. You will work closely with the Activity Director to deliver activities in both assisted living and memory care settings. These activities will be designed with a therapeutic approach to address the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual needs of each resident. Occasionally, you will be responsible for driving residents to and from appointments and outings.
