West Oaks Senior Care & Rehab is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver life enrichment programs and engage residents daily. The role emphasizes therapeutic activities for physical and mental well-being, with a focus on music, games, and crafts.

You will support and lead group activities, encourage participation, and help coordinate transport to programs. A one-year experience in long-term care is preferred, along with a background in music or recreational therapy.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering quality care.
• You are a team player, dedicated to supporting your team.

Responsabilités

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients based on background, interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

The Activities Aide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting both physical & mental health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games, listen to music and sing songs, and do arts & crafts -this position may be for you!You will earn: $15.35 per hour to start

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• Part Time Position
• Day Shift - All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred
