Job summary

Wexford Senior Care Center in Cadillac, MI is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily programs that support physical and mental well-being for residents. You will run group and one-on-one activities, encourage attendance, and help create a warm, engaging environment.

Part-time shifts include days or afternoons with rotating weekends and some holidays. Starting wage $15.00 per hour with hero pay and yearly increases, plus comprehensive benefits including tuition

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• You will encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• You will evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• You will develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.

The Life Enrichment Activities Aide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting both physical & mental health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games, listen to music and sing songs, and do arts & crafts - this position may be for you!

You will earn:

• Starting Wages: $15.00 per hour

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• Part Time positions available - all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• 8 hour shifts - Days and Afternoons available!
