Job summary

WellBridge of Clarkston is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs, promoting a warm, healing environment for guests. You will engage residents in crafts, games and activities that support health and well-being in a supportive facility.

The role requires enthusiasm for teamwork, strong customer service, and the ability to lead activities for groups and individuals in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, families and visitors.
Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment activities.
Evaluate patients based on background, interests, abilities and needs for meaningful programs.
Develop and display thematic decorations throughout the facility.

You will earn:

Base wages $15.15 per hour

How you will help people every day:

You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
You will assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
You will encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
You will evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
You will develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred (not required)
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.
