Job summary

Dimondale Nursing Center is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to deliver daily enrichment programs that support physical and mental well-being. You will lead engaging activities, promote a welcoming environment, and assist residents with meaningful experiences.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to background, life enrichment interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

If you like to play games, listen to music and sing songs, and do arts & crafts -this position may be for you!

You will earn:

• Starting wages at $15.00an hour
• Yearly Wage Increases
