Job summary

Durand Senior Care & Rehab is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to lead daily programs that enrich residents’ physical and mental well‑being. If you enjoy games, music, arts and crafts, this role offers meaningful interaction with guests, families and visitors in a warm, caring setting.

The position is part‑time with base wages starting at $14.50 per hour plus Hero Pay of $0.85 per hour, overtime, and yearly wage increases.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.
