Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Dimondale is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to deliver daily enrichment programs. You will lead group and one-on-one activities, promoting wellbeing through music, crafts, and social engagement for residents.

Starting wages at $15.00 per hour, plus Hero Pay of $0.85 per hour, with yearly wage increases. This full-time, on-site role includes comprehensive benefits: medical with no deductible, PTO, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000,

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!

Responsibilities

• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors.
• You will assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• You will encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• You will evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• You will develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting both physical & mental health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games, listen to music and sing songs, and do arts & crafts - this position may be for you!

You Will Earn

• Starting wages at $15.00 an hour
