Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC is seeking a Community Manager in California to lead daily operations of an active adult community, ensuring residents have an exceptional experience and the property achieves strong financial performance and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee onsite teams, coordinate resources, and foster a vibrant, inclusive environment that supports residents aged 55+. You’ll liaise between ownership, residents, and onsite staff to drive long-term success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to lead and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident concerns and resolve issues with empathy.
• Oversee financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and budgeting.
• Lead ownership/investor site visits and provide performance updates.
• Hire, onboard, train, and manage team performance.
• Enforce lease policies, conduct inspections, and manage evictions where applicable.
• Conduct daily huddles and regular coaching.
• Drive revenue and occupancy goals through leasing and marketing strategies.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA and housing regulations.
