Job summary

Blackstone Real Estate seeks an Acquisitions VP in New York to lead end-to-end real estate investment transactions, from origination and underwriting through negotiation and closing.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate CRE acquisition opportunities through broker relationships, direct outreach, and existing network channels
• Lead deal screening, valuation, and financial underwriting to assess risk/return, downside cases, and key investment assumptions
• Develop and refine business plans in collaboration with asset management to support acquisition underwriting and post-close execution
• Prepare investment committee materials, including narrative deal memos, pricing recommendations, and sensitivity analyses
• Negotiate key business terms with sellers, brokers, and counterparties, and partner with legal on purchase agreements and closing documentation
• Coordinate financing strategy in partnership with capital markets and lenders, including debt sizing, term comparisons, and closing timelines
• Drive transaction execution from LOI through closing, coordinating diligence workstreams, advisors, and internal stakeholders
• Manage and mentor junior team members on underwriting standards, market research, and transaction processes

Scope includes shaping investment theses and business plans with asset management, coordinating financing strategy with capital markets, and developing junior talent across underwriting and transaction execution.
