Job summary

Blackstone Real Estate is seeking an Acquisitions Associate in New York to drive analytical and execution work across the acquisition lifecycle. You will underwrite prospective acquisitions, model cash flows, review rent rolls and operating statements, and coordinate third-party diligence to inform investment recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting acquisitions, including cash flow modeling and sensitivity analysis.
• Coordinate third-party diligence (appraisal, engineering, environmental, title/survey) and synthesize findings into underwriting.
• Prepare investment memos and presentation materials summarizing deal rationale, risks, and return drivers.

This Acquisitions Associate role supports a New York-based investment team by driving the analytical and execution workstream across the acquisition lifecycle. The position sits at the core of evaluating new opportunities and translating market and diligence inputs into investment-ready underwriting and recommendations. The scope is transaction-oriented and highly cross-functional, partnering with internal asset management and operations stakeholders and coordinating with external parties through closing.

• Coordinate third-party diligence (appraisal, engineering, environmental, title/survey) and synthesize findings into underwriting and recommendations
• Assist with term sheet/LOI support and transaction execution through purchase agreement, closing checklist, and internal approvals
• Monitor pipeline status and maintain internal reporting on active deals, next steps, and key diligence/closing milestones
