Job summary

Blackstone Real Estate is seeking a VP of Acquisitions based in New York. The role leads the front end of the investment pipeline, owning evaluation and execution from initial sourcing through closing. You will present memos to the Investment Committee and coordinate cross-functional transaction activities.

The position interfaces with internal teams to align pre-close with post-close business plans and directly informs senior leadership on market opportunities and risk-adjusted returns.

Qualifications

• Source and evaluate acquisition opportunities aligned with strategy.
• Maintain market intelligence on pricing and capital markets.
• Lead underwriting with financial analyses and sensitivity scenarios.
• Prepare investment memos and present to leadership and the I/C.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transaction execution from initial review through closing.
• Oversee due diligence across financial, legal, physical, and operational areas.
• Develop business and transition plans aligned with underwriting.
• Collaborate with Asset/Property Management for post-close plans.
