Summit Companies is seeking an A/R Acquisition Specialist to manage collections arising from newly acquired businesses. You will verify ownership and terms, coordinate with legal and finance, and maintain accurate records across ERP/CRM platforms.

The role emphasizes effective communication with customers, resolving billing discrepancies, and meeting defined productivity benchmarks while supporting a smooth financial transition during acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant work experience in accounts receivables or construction industry.
• 2 years collections experience.
• 2 years customer service experience.
• 2 years professional computer skills.
• 2 years ERP/CRM systems; preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage collections for AR acquired through mergers, acquisitions, or portfolio transfers.
• Review aging reports and develop collection strategies for high-priority accounts.
• Contact customers via phone or email to follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Collaborate with acquisition, legal, and finance teams to validate ownership and terms.
• Resolve discrepancies in billing or account setup during acquisition transitions.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and payment commitments in ERP/CRM.
• Escalate unresolved/delinquent accounts to management or legal when needed.
• Prepare for and attend scheduled acquisition meetings.
