Job summary

ORBIS is seeking an Acquisition Support professional to assist the IWS 6 program within NAVSEA. The role focuses on tracking resources for installation and integration of systems aboard Navy ship platforms, supporting new construction and modernization efforts.

The position is based in Washington, DC, with up to 50% remote work. U.S. citizenship and a SECRET clearance are required; HS/GED with a Bachelor's preferred. Join a Veteran Owned small business with Navy program experience.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of professional experience.
• Ability to manage customer data-calls.
• Preparation, execution, and after-action follow-up for large meetings and briefings.
• Fully conversant in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with Navy ship modernization processes and Government-furnished equipment management.

Incumbent will provide acquisition support to IWS 6, the Command and Control Program Office within the PEO for Integrated Warfare Systems. Specific responsibilities include tracking resources associated with the installation and integration of IWS 6 systems aboard Navy ship platforms, either as part of new construction or as part of modernization efforts.

** Required Skills and Experiences:**

• 0-3 years professional experience
• Ability to manage customer data-calls
• Preparation, execution, and after-action follow-up large meetings and briefings
• Fully conversant in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT etc.)
• Exceptional written and oral skills
• Preferred: Familiarity and experience with the Navy's processes for ship modernization and management of Government-furnished equipment (GFE)

Degree Requirements:

• HS / GED required; 4-yr Bachelor's degree preferred
