Job summary

Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a university accredited in the United States.
  • 3+ years prior program or project experience.
  • Prior experience supporting 30-year Shipbuilding plans.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients.
  • Attend meetings and provide onsite/in-person support as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage data calls for cost estimates, phasing plans, and task planning sheets.
  • Manage and oversee the acquisition systems, programs and platforms.
  • Collaborate with other U.S. Navy organizations such as OPNAV, SYSCOMS, warfare centers and Fleet stakeholders.
  • Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or clients.

We are currently seeking Junior Acquisition Analyst to support the U.S. Navy’s Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy Modernization area for the PEO IWS 6.0 program. This position is hybrid and requires 3 days per week at the Washington Navy Yard.
