SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Acoustical Sales Specialist to provide in-depth product knowledge on building materials with a focus on acoustical products for drywall projects.

The role emphasizes building long-term customer relationships, processing orders, and supporting strategic sales efforts. You will collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers, overcome objections, and ensure accurate sales records while maintaining account activity and pricing information.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; a 4 year degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers and work with field teams.
• Ability to self-manage, take initiative, and drive results.
• Strong written and verbal communication with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers.
• Enter orders using the company computer system; complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales forms/reports.
• Maintain customer accounts and complete sales administrative tasks.
• Maintain records of sales activity, sales, and pricing.
