Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Acoustical Architectural Specialties Sales Representative in Arkansas to provide product knowledge, drive sales, and support the field team.

You will build relationships with customers, perform design consultations, estimate pricing, and help close projects while leveraging acoustical ceilings and panels experience. This role requires strong communication, independent work, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of relevant experience
• Ability to understand and read plans and specifications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate
• Professional communication and relationship-building skills to interact with customers and team members

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers.
• Technical resource for the internal sales team and external customers in acoustical architectural specialties products
• Perform design consultation and assist with project budgeting
• Uncovering new project opportunities.
• Estimate and produce project pricing.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers; emphasize product/service features, quote prices.
• Maintain customer accounts as necessary and complete sales administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, sales, and pricing.
• Follow up timely on estimates, bids, and job tracking
• Utilize technology to effectively service the customer needs and provide unique market solutions
