Job summary

Tenacity seeks an ACE Academy Program Associate in Boston, MA to support recruitment, engagement, and retention of middle school students in after-school and summer programming. Under the Site Leader, you will deliver academic, literacy, fitness, and family engagement activities that promote growth.

You may lead small groups, support classroom push-ins, and serve as a bus chaperone; evenings/weekends and summer work may be required. A growth mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or related field preferred.
• Spanish-speaking a plus.
• Model a growth mindset for students and staff.
• Experience with middle school students and socio-emotional growth.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational skills.
• Driver’s license desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Some tennis experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit middle school students for Ace Academy.
• Engage and retain students through high-quality programming.
• Plan and facilitate events, field trips, evenings and weekends.
• Assist with Summer Tennis, Reading, and Pickleball programs.
• Support family engagement and caregiver communication.
• Maintain student records and coordinate with school-day staff.
• Collaborate with site staff and attend regular team meetings.
