Job summary

Atlantic Coast Athletic Clubs, LP is seeking a Youth Programs Supervisor to lead and supervise children during after-school activities, including homework, outdoor play, reading, sports and arts and crafts.

The role requires adherence to state licensing standards, managing group rotations, and delivering outstanding service to members and guests with a positive demeanor. Availability for after-school hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully pass state required background checks
• Bachelor's degree preferred or classes in Childhood education and development may serve in lieu of degree if standards are met
• Prior experience with youth programming and/or summer camps highly desired
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise children during activities such as homework, outdoor play, reading, sports, or arts and crafts
• Follow state licensing standards for child care
• Promote safety and security of all children at all times
• Maintain appropriate student-to-counselor ratios and stay within sight and sound of students
• Deliver outstanding service to members, guests and team members with friendliness and a positive demeanor
• Assist with creating and planning daily activities and participate in planned activities
• Ensure classroom or area is cleaned per licensing standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and support service excellence
