Job summary

Elevate USA in Massachusetts Boston is seeking AmeriCorps members to support youth development through Accredited Classes, Transformational Mentoring, Adventure Activities, College and Career Readiness, and Family Engagement during the summer program.

You will assist Teacher-Mentors with elementary and middle school activities, serve as a positive peer role model, and help with weekend and summer events, timesheets, reflections, and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Assist Teacher-Mentors with elementary and middle school programs, including recreational and mentoring activities.
• Serve as a positive peer role model for younger students.
• Support weekend and summer programming, events, and family engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher-Mentors with elementary and middle school programs, including recreational, mentoring, and adventure activities.
• Serve as a positive peer role model, especially to younger students.
• Provide support during weekend and summer programming, including events, trips, and family engagement activities.
• Build leadership skills by taking responsibility for small-group supervision.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and complete service reflections as assigned.
