Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Houston to manage cash flow and deliver outstanding service to customers and internal teams.

You will support cash application, AR accounting, and assist with weekly/monthly close, while handling credit requests, deductions, and audit documentation to help meet KPIs. This role offers cross-functional collaboration and opportunities for process improvements within the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s inflow and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Support cash application and AR accounting with accurate, timely documentation and manage various AR transactions.
• Assist with weekly and month-end close processes, complete related checklists, and coordinate with Sales for chargebacks and deductions.
• Maintain organized AR and deposit documentation, issue credit notes, process transactions, and assist with audit documentation while supporting Finance and Sales with customer credit requests.
• Strive to meet or exceed KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities

• As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will support cash application and overall Accounts Receivable (AR) accounting by ensuring accurate and timely documentation, while also managing various transactions submitted to the team
• You will assist with the weekly and month-end close accounting processes, ensuring completion of all related checklists, and support various AR activities including cash receipts, adjustments, and communication with Sales for chargebacks and deductions
• You will maintain organized filing for all AR and deposit documentation, issue credit notes, process transactions, support the Finance and Sales teams with customer credit requests, and assist with audit documentation while striving to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify solutions for continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 1 to 2 years of relatex experience
