Job summary

CFS in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Lead to oversee daily AR operations, including invoicing, cash applications, reconciliations, and collections. This role provides leadership to the AR team to ensure accuracy and efficiency across billing workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounts receivable, including collections and month-end close.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, payment applications, account reconciliations, collections, and customer account maintenance.
• Lead and support the AR team by establishing priorities, monitoring performance, and promoting accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor aging reports, resolve outstanding balances, investigate discrepancies, and partner with internal teams to address billing and payment issues.
• Support month-end close activities, reconcile AR accounts, and provide reporting and analysis related to receivables, collections, and cash flow.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen internal controls, and streamline billing and collection processes.

Key Responsibilities
