Job summary

Wilson-McShane Corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to ensure timely processing of participant contributions and payments. You will be the first point of contact for participants, employers, and auditors, performing accurate posting and reconciliation in a collaborative team.

The position follows a standard 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday schedule in Duluth, Minnesota, with an hourly wage of $26.85 and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO,

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable preferred and Taft-Hartley Funds knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in Word and Excel for daily tasks and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret Plan Documents and SPDs for contributions.
• Strong communication with participants, employers, auditors, and counsel.

Responsibilities

• Daily verbal and written communication with participants, employers, external auditors, and fund legal counsel.
• Posting employer contributions and participant self-payments.
• Reconciling reports and making deposits.
• Interpret and follow rules outlined in Plan Documents.
• Pursue collection of delinquent and missing monthly contributions and associated fees.
• Create audit billings for employers upon receipt of final audit.
• Maintain documentation activity or general correspondence with participants, employers, attorneys, business agents, etc.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence forms, reports and other documents, as required.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
