Job summary

BWI Companies, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented accounting-oriented candidate to compute, classify, and record numerical data for financial records. You will perform routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to support accounting records.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Experience: One to two years related experience.
• Computer Skills: AS 400 (trained at location); Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills; calculator.

Responsibilities

• Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information on customers' accounts.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
• Operate 10-key calculators and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents.
• Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
• Handle routine correspondence to advise customers of discrepancies and to reconcile customer's accounts.
