Job summary

Hunter Engineering Company in Bridgeton, MO is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage financial records, process and reconcile payments, and prepare invoices while resolving billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

You’ll handle daily cash posting, postings, EDI invoices, and related audits. We offer a profit-sharing plan, generous PTO, tuition reimbursement, and an onsite fitness

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience including cash posting and posting of cash.
• Strong accuracy, diplomacy and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• ERP experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Daily cash posting and balancing across various payment methods.
• Post credit card payments and verify E-Credit transactions.
• Maintain Daily Cash Receipts and input backup data.
• Post batch and send posting logs.
• Proof invoices daily, including EDI invoices.
• Maintain cash posting reports and share with customers weekly.
• Research documentation within Credit Department for audits.
• Upload and verify insurance premiums for independent contractors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
