Job summary

Aston Carter is recruiting for an onsite Accounts Receivable Specialist in Florham Park/Morristown, NJ. You will handle payments, postings, and reconciliations in a manufacturing environment, working with rebates and promotions, and coordinating with sales and customer service to ensure timely collections.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, detailed spreadsheet management, and clear reporting to stakeholders, with standard 8:30–5:00 onsite hours and a contract arrangement.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in an accounts receivable support role.
• Experience invoicing, cash applications, and collections.
• Experience with rebates, discounts, and corrections.
• Ability to manage and reconcile multiple rebate/promo spreadsheets.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment and software.
• Ability to read and interpret business and regulatory documents.
• Write clear reports and communications with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments and post to invoices accurately.
• Reconcile shortages or overpayments and coordinate corrections.
• Prepare bank deposits and financial transactions per procedures.
• Record AR data in computer systems.
• Assist in delinquent account collections and payment plans.
• Verify credit for promotions and record amounts/dates.
• Maintain spreadsheets tracking rebates and credits; reconcile month-end.
• Submit AR information and file related documents.
• Coordinate RAs for customer deductions with CS & Sales.
• Compile daily/weekly bank and financial reports for management.
