Job summary

Ambipar, in partnership with Witt O’Brien’s, seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in Houston. You will manage invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections while maintaining accurate customer records and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of AR experience, strong accounting knowledge, and proficient Excel and Workday skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounts receivable, billing, or related accounting experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of AR and general accounting principles.
• Experience with Workday as an ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AR process including invoicing, cash application, and collections.
• Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices and credit memos.
• Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due balances.
• Assist with month-end close and AR reporting.
• Maintain customer records in Workday.
