American Refrigeration is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support project finance for industrial refrigeration services. You will manage invoicing, collections, and customer inquiries while collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate billing and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in accounts receivable or similar finance role; experience with industrial refrigeration ops preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Customer invoicing and collecting
• Assisting customers with invoice inquiries and payment method updates
• Sending statements of outstanding invoices to customers
• Reviewing A/R aging reports and following up on past due balances
• Progressive invoicing on industrial refrigeration projects
• Assisting with system implementations and process changes
• Building sustainable relationships with industrial refrigeration customers and partners
• Managing a small volume of incoming phone calls
• Assisting with other duties as requested
