Job summary

La-Z-Boy is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist at our Monroe, MI facility. The role focuses on applying cash receipts to customer accounts and balancing the A/R ledger daily and monthly, while maintaining accurate customer master data.

You will work with credit, customer service, and sales teams to resolve deductions, chargebacks, and account issues, ensuring timely statements and dunning notices. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Up to 5% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile lockbox and wire cash inflows daily to dealer accounts.
• Balance the A/R sub-ledger with the G/L and lockbox deposit reports.
• Process incoming dealer credit applications and build a credit file with credit reports and references.
• Maintain customer master records and master data accuracy.
• Research and resolve deductions, returns, and chargebacks with cross-functional teams.
