Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Indiana is seeking an AR Specialist responsible for applying cash receipts, balancing AR sub ledgers, and maintaining customer master data. You will work with Credit, Customer Service, Sales and IT to resolve deductions, chargebacks, and account issues.

The role supports Residential, England, and Casegoods business units, requires strong Excel skills and ERP experience, and offers a collaborative environment with company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Willing to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile lockbox and wire cash inflows to dealer accounts.
• Balance AR subledger with the G/L and lockbox reports.
• Process dealer credit applications and build credit files using credit reports and references.
• Maintain customer master records for ~4,300 active accounts.
• Manage department email inboxes and provide responsive service (credit references).
• Prepare journal entries and related credit management reports.
