Hanley Energy is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Ashburn, Virginia team. You will support the Finance Team by ensuring timely invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling customer accounts. The role may assist with accounts payable tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has about 2 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with SAP, and strong communication and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
• Maintains and updates customer files and reconciles accounts receivable.
• Collaborates with Accounting Team to reconcile accounts receivable regularly.
• Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
• Assists with accounts payable processing as directed.
