Job summary

ALS is seeking an AR Specialist I for a full-time, hybrid role in Houston, TX. You will assist with the daily accounts receivable workflow, process payments, maintain customer portals, and support month-end procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years AR experience preferred, and strong communication and MS Office skills. Bachelor’s degree is a plus in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma/GED; experience in accounts receivable and ability to process payments.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years AR experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate main line phones and process high-volume credit card payments.
• Maintain Customer Portals and create Invoice Summaries.
• Enter orders for designated customers and follow up on invoice queries.
• Reconcile monthly reports and debtor accounts; assist with month-end procedures.
• Assist with collections and negotiate payment arrangements.
