Job summary

IEP Technologies is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Marlborough, MA team. This role focuses on accurate cash application, invoicing, statement distribution, and timely collection of past-due balances.

You will post payments daily, resolve invoice issues, manage statements, and generate AR reports. The position offers on-site work arrangement with potential hybrid after three months and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years Accounts Receivable experience, manufacturing experience helpful.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in ERP accounting systems, SAP experience preferable.
• Demonstrated skills in prioritization, problem solving, analysis, and time management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience over the minimum requirement); High school /GED required.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Post customer payments daily to the appropriate accounts.
• Research and clear issues with invoices stopped from getting paid, including pricing discrepancies, credits, holds, duplicate invoices, disputes, and other billing problems.
• Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and delivered in accordance with customer terms.
• Generate and send monthly statements to customers by the due date.
• Follow up with customers on past due invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence; negotiate payment plans when necessary.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve variances in a timely manner.
• Maintain aging reports and other AR reports; escalate significant issues to management.
