Job summary

Sage Hotels’ UNC Charlotte Marriott location is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage billing, posting payments, and maintaining accurate guest and group accounts. You will collaborate with hotel teams to ensure timely settlements and accurate financial records.

The role supports month-end close and daily revenue reporting while upholding internal controls and customer service standards. Experience in AR and hotel systems is preferred; Excel proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• One to two years of post-high school education.
• One year of experience in similar role; accounting background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable activities, including billing, invoicing, and payment posting.
• Review guest, group, and event accounts for accuracy and timely settlement.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Research and resolve billing questions and payment discrepancies with care and professionalism.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare reports to support accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end close and other accounting tasks as needed.
• Follow company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
• Work collaboratively with hotel departments to provide excellent service to guests and business partners.
