Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Specialist# Accounts Receivable SpecialistMenin Hospitality - Miami, FL 33132## OverviewSalary Range$50,000.00 - $58,000.00## Description**Job Summary**We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the accounting operations of our multi-location restaurant business. This position is responsible for invoicing, collections, payment posting, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has restaurant or hospitality accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Restaurant365 (R365), Toast, and similar systems.**Key Responsibilities*** Prepare and issue accurate invoices, track outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments.* Post incoming payments and maintain accurate customer account records.* Reconcile daily restaurant sales, credit card settlements, deposits, and payment activity across multiple locations.* Investigate and resolve discrepancies between point-of-sale reports, bank deposits, and accounting records.* Reconcile accounts receivable balances to the general ledger.* Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and communicate collection concerns to management.* Use Excel to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and prepare supporting reports.* Communicate professionally with clients, restaurant managers, and internal departments regarding billing and payment questions.* Assist with reviewing and reconciling records related to liquor, beer, wine, and food purchases.* Work within R365, Toast, and related restaurant accounting platforms to maintain accurate financial information.* Support month-end closing through reconciliations, account analysis, and supporting documentation.* Follow company accounting procedures and internal controls, maintaining organized and confidential financial records.**Qualifications*** Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting role.* Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, payment posting, and account reconciliation.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on unresolved items.* Working knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation.**Preferred Qualifications*** Accounting experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or multi-location business.* Experience using Restaurant365 (R365), Toast, or comparable accounting and point-of-sale systems.* Familiarity with restaurant sales reporting, credit card settlements, and food and beverage purchasing records.* Experience supporting month-end close and preparing financial reports.Benefits:* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
