Alsco Uniforms seeks an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support the Office Manager in collecting and maintaining charge accounts according to policy. The role requires strong communication to resolve A/R issues and effective problem solving.

The position involves processing payments, monitoring aging accounts, and providing regular updates to management. There is emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to procedures in a dynamic laundry-service environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office, with emphasis on Excel for aging/past due reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience in data entry and general business procedures.

Responsabilités

• Process customer payments per policy.
• Monitor accounts for non-payment, skipped invoices, and partial payments.
• Report on account collections to management.
• Organize recovery systems and initiate collections.
• Close monthly/quarterly statements and generate reports.
• Contact customers to arrange delinquent payments via phone/email/mail.
• Perform credit checks and report findings to management.
• Investigate and resolve inquiries; prepare bad debt write-offs.
• Fax/email invoices to customers for payment.
