Alsco Uniforms is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Los Angeles. The role supports the Office Manager by managing charge accounts, collecting payments, and maintaining adherence to company policy. Strong communication will be essential to resolve issues and keep accounts current.

The position emphasizes organization, teamwork, and reliable data entry to ensure timely reporting and effective collection efforts across customers and branches.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient with MS Office, esp. Excel for aging/past due reports.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to drive collection efforts effectively.
• Basic understanding of general business procedures and data entry.

Aufgaben

• Process customer payments according to policy.
• Monitor accounts for non-payment, skipped invoices, and partial payments.
• Provide regular communication to management regarding collections status.
• Organize a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.
• Complete monthly and quarterly closing statements and create reports.
• Communicate with customers to arrange payment on delinquent accounts.
• Perform reference checks of all credit applications and report findings to management.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Submit accounts to management for bad debt write-offs.
• Fax or email invoices to customers for payment.
• Perform other tasks as required.
• May perform some of the other general office functions.
