Job summary

Gotion Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage outgoing payments, invoice customers, and support cash flow. The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, at least 2 years AR experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and SAP, and strong organizational and communication skills.

You will collaborate with other departments, assist with monthly close, and contribute to process improvements within the AR function at our Silicon Valley–based company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of AR processes and financial regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Process incoming payments, ensuring accurate recording and posting to the general ledger.
• Maintain a detailed record of all AR transactions.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare reports on accounts receivable aging and collection status.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing or payment issues.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance the AR function.
