New Pig is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team and support both the accounting and service departments. You will handle AR tasks, respond to customer inquiries, and navigate multiple financial systems under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in accounting or related field, with a bachelor’s degree preferred; strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related major required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Personable, eager, quick learner, and adaptable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with department leaders and peers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office, especially Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accounts receivable payment application and discrepancy resolutions.
• Accounts receivable customer communications (collections and customer inquiries).
• Accounts receivable billing for online customer portals.
• Provide superior customer service internally and externally.
• Navigate through different financial systems throughout the day.
• Assist in special projects and other accounting operations duties as needed.
• Provide backup administration for other accounting personnel in a specific function area when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
