New Pig is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team under the supervision of the Accounting Manager. You will work with the accounting and service departments, handle AR inquiries, and manage billing for online portals in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication with leaders and peers. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is important for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or finance; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication with department leaders and peers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable payment applications and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers regarding AR inquiries and collections.
• Bill online customer portals for AR.
• Provide superior internal and external customer service.
• Navigate multiple financial systems throughout the day.
• Assist in special accounting projects as needed.
• Backup other AR/AP functions as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
