Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our Houston, TX office. The role focuses on managing customer accounts through the full billing cycle, with emphasis on accurate Time & Material and Fixed Price invoices, collections, and cash application.

You will report to the Assistant Controller and support month-end close. The ideal candidate has solid AR experience, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented approach to maintaining billing records

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable with experience preparing Fixed Price and Time & Material billings.
• Proficiency with cash receipts application.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer billings on a mid-month and monthly cycle.
• Collect required supporting documentation for Time & Material and Fixed Price billings.
• Generate and distribute invoices; follow up for receipt and acceptance.
• Monitor accounts receivable and notify managers of unpaid or disputed invoices.
• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts and maintain records.
• Respond to billing inquiries from managers and customers.
• Maintain billing documentation and audit-ready records.
• Assist with month-end close and reconcile accounts as needed.
• Perform order entry, change orders, and tie-outs with AP.
