HICO America in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our accounting team. This role focuses on processing customer invoices, maintaining account records, resolving billing issues, and supporting timely collection of balances.

Candidates should have a accounting degree, knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS (ASC 606/IFRS 15), proficiency in Excel and SAP, strong communication, and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, especially ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP).
• Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare invoices, statements, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on past-due balances.
• Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer account record.
• Business partnering with non-finance inter-departmental managers to ensure timely and proper invoice processing.
• Prepare special project analyses for the Project Managers and Senior Management as needed.
• Provide year-round support for auditor requirements, which may include research and reconcilement.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions.
• Monthly/quarterly report preparation for closing activities.
• Perform additional assignments, as directed by the Manager of Accounts Receivable.
