Job summary

The Access Group in the United States is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to manage and collect outstanding customer balances within the Finance team. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate postings and strengthening customer relationships.

You will collaborate with sales and billing, monitor aging reports, and drive timely collections while resolving disputes.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or related roles in a corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of collection practices, credit terms, and the legal considerations of debt recovery.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with collections software or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other financial software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and collect overdue accounts to reduce aged receivables across a portfolio.
• Contact customers by phone, email, and written correspondence to collect payments and resolve disputes.
• Track incoming payments and ensure correct posting to accounts; resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Generate and review aging reports to identify overdue accounts and prioritize collections.
• Address and resolve customer billing issues, disputes, and concerns with sales and billing teams.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of the Accounts Receivable aging report to the General Ledger.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on collections status and delinquent accounts.
