Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, especially ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP).
• Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices, statements, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on past-due balances.
• Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer account record.
• Business partnering with non-finance inter-departmental managers to ensure timely and proper invoice processing.
• Prepare special project analyses for the Project Managers and Senior Management as needed.
• Provide year-round support for auditor requirements, which may include research and reconcilement.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions.
• Monthly/quarterly report preparation for closing activities.
• Perform additional assignments, as directed by the Manager of Accounts Receivable.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for accurately processing customer invoices, maintaining account records, resolving billing issues, and supporting timely collection of outstanding balances.

THE NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, especially ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP).
• Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion.
