Kellogg Staffing is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join its accounting team in Ohio. This role offers ownership of the AR cycle, opportunities to work across finance functions, and exposure to accounts payable and inventory accounting.

You will build relationships with customers, support month-end close, and help improve internal controls while contributing to a balanced work-life environment.

• Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Reconcile customer accounts and assist with cash application and month-end close.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service and other departments to resolve issues.
• Assist with accounts payable activities, including invoice processing.
• Support inventory-related accounting activities and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and internal controls.
• Assist with additional general accounting responsibilities and special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee B2B collections, communicating directly with customers to resolve outstanding balances and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Monitor AR aging reports, identify past-due accounts, and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, deductions, and customer account inquiries.
• Reconcile customer accounts and assist with cash application and month-end closing activities.
• Partner with sales, customer service, and other internal departments to resolve billing and collection issues.
• Assist with accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and payment support.
• Support inventory-related accounting activities, including inventory reconciliations, adjustments, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with additional general accounting responsibilities and special projects as needed.
