Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA seeks an Accounts Receivable Assistant to manage student accounts, process refunds on credit balances, post AP batches, and handle ParentPlus refunds with accuracy and courtesy.
Daily duties include submitting refund requests, posting charges and adjustments, answering inquiries by phone and email, and supporting campus activities while ensuring timely, compliant accounts receivable service.
Ensure due diligence is followed in actively collecting theUniversity’s receivables. Ensure that all un-reconciled differencesand adjustments are resolved promptly and accurately and in compliance with University and State guidelines and regulations. Toprovide exceptional customer service to students, parents, faculty,staff and others in a timely, accurate and professional manner byresponding to inquiries related to students’ accounts.
Salary: $37,936.08
