Accounts Receivable & Trade Deductions Analyst
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office)

Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable & Trade Deductions Analyst plays a key role in supporting the company’s revenue cycle. This position is responsible for core accounts receivable functions, managing high-volume trade deductions, and identifying trends to improve processes and reduce discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable Operations
- Post and reconcile daily cash receipts, including lockbox and electronic remittances (as needed)
- Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and accruals
- Partner with customers to collect on past due balances
- Assist with onboarding new customer accounts
- Trade Deductions & Analysis
- Process and resolve high-volume customer deductions with proper documentation
- Investigate discrepancies and manage dispute resolution
- Analyze deduction trends and identify root causes to improve accuracy and reduce future issues
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and other internal teams
- Validate promotional programs and resolve billing discrepancies
- Support broader revenue-related initiatives
- Process Improvement & Projects
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements
- Participate in system upgrades, reporting improvements, and special projects
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of accounts receivable experience (CPG industry preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems
- Familiarity with customer portals and trade deductions
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
Preferred:
- Experience with trade management systems (e.g., NetSuite, CPG Vision)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- KPI-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to build relationships across teams
- Hybrid schedule with at least 3 days in-office (preferably Tuesday–Thursday)
- Overtime may be required during month-end close
